Today, I played a vocabulary game called "Slang game". The point of the game, is to see if you understand expressions, idioms, similes, metaphors, and things like that. When you click start, you see (at the top) a box with the expression in it. One of the questions was, Cat got your tongue. Then, underneath it, thre are four smaller boxes that give definitions. 3 are wrong, 1 is correct. You have to try and decide which one is he correct definition, or meaning, for that expression. There are around 10 or so questions in total. I learned a few new expressions today, refreshed my knowledge on some already known, but almost forgotten ones, and was suprised to see some answers that people might have given. I was not worried, but almost bothered, or concerned that this would be a very boring thing, that should be intended for 6 year olds, but I was suprised to find out that this game turned out to be quite enjoyable.
Try it out for yourself, and leave a comment telling me what you think!! =D
